Terms and Conditions.
These terms govern services provided by Mirjeta Makeup Exquisite, a freelance makeup artist based in Somerset West, South Africa. By booking you agree to these terms in full.
1. Bookings
A provisional booking will only be secured once the trial has been paid upfront, along with a payment notification from the bank. In the case where no trial is necessary or possible, the full makeup service fee is mandatory. Payment must be made within two weeks of accepting the quotation unless the booking date is less than two weeks away, in which case the due amount must be paid and cleared into the artist's bank account no later than 48 hours prior to the booking date. Failure to do so will result in immediate cancellation of the booking. Under no circumstances will cash payments on the booking day be accepted.
2. Payment
All payments are strictly by electronic bank transfer (EFT), Yoco or cash. Use the client name and event date as a banking reference. Please email proof of payment to jeta@makeupexquisite.co.za. Hereafter the client will receive a booking confirmation with relevant booking details.
3. Makeup Lessons
Makeup lessons are available as private one-on-one or small group sessions. Group bookings must be arranged in advance and agreed in writing. No uninvited guests or observers will be permitted without prior arrangement.
4. Client Conduct
- No more than one person may accompany a client at a makeup trial when coming to the artist's venue.
- No children under 12 are allowed at the artist's venue.
- Clients must inform Mirjeta of any known allergies or sensitivities before the appointment.
5. Cancellations
Booking fees are non-refundable. Clients may use the fees of a cancelled booking as a credit towards a future booking at the discretion of the artist. Changes to bookings must be communicated in writing at least 72 hours in advance.
6. Travel and Overtime
All prices exclude travel unless specified otherwise in writing. Travel fees are calculated at R7.00 per km. Applicable toll fees are for the client's account. Overtime is charged at R500 per hour and requires upfront cash payment. Accommodation charges may apply and will be for the client's account when travel to the venue exceeds 3 hours one way, or when services commence before 07:00 or finish after 16:00.
7. Intellectual Property
By paying for services, clients agree to the display and use of their images on social media and the artist's website for marketing purposes, unless explicitly requested otherwise in writing.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
